A Better UfO Bible Connection// There is a strong case to be made that there are entities in Biblical/Jewish literature with a reptile/serpent type appearance. This creates a better alien ufo biblical connection than the standard arguments about spaceships in the Bible that exist in todays' Ancient Astronaut Theory. It is irresponsible for any UFO researcher to ignore this ancient reptilian theme when the alien abduction literature clearly contains this reptilian element. The Old Testament book of Ezekial chapter 28 confirms that the "serpent" in the Garden of Eden story is in fact an entity. In the passage the prophet is railing against the King of Tyre and compares him to the entity in Eden who corrupts himself. The Hebrew scholar H J Van Dijk. in his publication "Ezekial's Prophecy on Tyre" argues that Ezekial 28:12 should be translated "skillful serpent" instead of "seal of perfection" which is the typical translation. The Dead Sea Scrolls' Book of Amram gives further support to the divine reptilian appearance. In this passage Amram sees a Watcher entity whose appearance is like a "viper". The Book of Enoch calls Gabriel an authority over the "serpents". This divine serpentine element comes into play in Jewish apocalyptic literature as well. I will post a second column on this in the near future. The point is that the ancients have legitimate material that cannot be ignored in the well rounded investigation of the UFO - Alien phenom.
